Rio de Janeiro Maracana Stadium Soccer Match

Manaus City Sightseeing Tour



Manaus city, the capital of Amazonas state in Brazil, is the ideal getaway for adventure enthusiasts as well as culture lovers. It made its place on the map during the rubber boom period and is now a popular tourist destination.

Meeting of the Waters Day Trip, Manaus



The Meeting of the Waters is one of the most famous natural attractions in Manaus, where the black waters of the Negro River meet the muddy brown waters of the Solimoes River, both flowing side by side without mixing for several kilometres. Merging together further on, they form the mighty Amazonas River. At the Meeting of the Waters, the two rivers can be seen distinctly divided by their colours, making for an absolutely riveting sight, one that is not to be missed.

The January Ecological Reserve is home to the world-famous gigantic saucer-shaped Victoria Regia (water lilies) that cover the lakes of the rainforest. Victoria Regia are found only in the Amazon region and have floating leaves up to 2 meters in diameter.

Aerial Tour of Manaus

Cruise downstream on the Negro River along the left bank, passing the city of Manaus, the Manaus Floating Harbour, the Municipal Market and, finally, the spectacular sight of the Meeting of the Waters, where the Solimoes and Negro Rivers meet to form the mighty Amazonas River.
